2 Days Jinja Tour

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Jinja via Mabira forest Day 2: Adventure in Jinja and return to Kampala

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Jinja After having breakfast at your residence or hotel in Kampala or Entebbe, you will meet your safari guide and set off eastwards. You can grab yourself a snack at Namawojjolo where they roast and sell chicken, beef and plantain to travelers going through the roadside centre. Have a stopover at Mabira forest and take on a nature walk to learn about the wildlife there. You could spot some monkeys and various forest birds. (Optional activity- zip lining) Proceed to Jinja town for lunch and then head out for a tour around Bujagali falls followed by a boat cruise on the Nile. It is an awesome experience of exploring areas along the river and a visit to Samuka Island where you enjoy lovely views of the surrounding. When you return, you will drive straight to the lodge and relax. Accommodation options: Lemala Wilderness lodge, Kingfisher lodge, Jinja Nile resort, 2 Friends guest house Day 2: Whitewater rafting and return to Kampala This day starts with a leisurely breakfast provided at your lodge in Jinja. Thereafter, you will pick up your bags with appropriate wear for whitewater rafting, head to the starting point of the activity. You will be briefed with guidelines about whitewater rafting and receive rafting gear just before you get started. Get aboard the raft and start sailing slowly on River Nile, towards the wild rapids which will get you swirling and wet, delighting in the adventure. At the end of it, you will go for lunch and embark on the return journey to Kampala where you’ll arrive in the evening. END OF JINJA SAFARI
