3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Safari

Driving to the far southwestern Uganda through the greenery landscapes is one of the highlights for this 3 days Bwindi Gorilla safari. It takes you to face the some of the remaining mountain gorillas in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable national park. You will drive in a 4X4 safari vehicle from Kampala or Entebbe and arrive at your destination in the evening.

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Day 2: Gorilla trekking Day 3: Return to Kampala

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi After morning breakfast at your lodge in Kampala, you will meet your safari driver and they will give you a briefing of the safari. Check out of the hotel and set off to Bwindi. The journey takes you via the equator monument in Kayabwe, and you will have lunch in Mbarara, then proceed to Bwindi arriving in the evening. Accommodation options: Bwindi lodge, Buhoma Community lodge, Trekkers Tavern Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi forest After morning breakfast, you will receive your packed lunch and head out to the park offices with your safari driver. The ranger guides will then give you a briefing for gorilla trekking and assign a gorilla group. Enter the forest with your ranger guide in search of the gorillas and once they are spotted, you will have one hour with them, learn about the behaviors of the apes and take photos with them. After the trek, you will return to the park offices and pick your trekking certificates, then drive back to the lodge. Day 3: Return to Kampala You will rise up, have your breakfast at the lodge, check out and embark on the return journey to Kampala. On your way, you will stopover in Mbarara for lunch and proceed to Kampala arriving there in the evening. You can be dropped off at Entebbe international airport if your flight is scheduled for the same day. END OF UGANDA GORILLA SAFARI
