This is one of the successful enchanting community conservation that has been rewarded the conservation efforts. It has managed to breed good numbers of the endangered black Rhinos therefore they have greatly impacted on the growth of Kenya’s tourism. Lewa Wildlife Conservancy has managed to offer a diversity of stunning safari activities. Originally, this conservancy was a cattle ranch but later in the 1920 it was upgraded into a black Rhino’s Sanctuary. As time went by the conservancy was expand combining it with the Ngare Ndare forest reserve and a whole farm. The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy has managed to survive throughout, because of the successful efforts of sustainable tourism in the world. It is apparently known as one of the most successful stories of conservation on the planet. It is important to note that, this conservancy was made popular after the proposal of Britain’s Prince called Prince William who proposed to Catherine Middleton when they visited this reserve.

Lewa wildlife conservancy is close to the Laikipia Plateau found in the south tin the town of Isiolo. It is about 4 hours’ drive from Nairobi city of Kenya by road in 4×4 safari car. Whilst if you want to use a flight to Lewa wildlife Conservancy, you have to board a flight in Nairobi via Wilson airport where you can book a region scheduled flight to fly you to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.
